Synopsis

The industrious and resilient spirit of immigrant parents, the romantic rivalry and companionship of three sisters, and the struggle of their bullied younger brother, tells a complex story of intolerance and identity in postwar Japan. Yakiniku Dragon, originally an award-winning stage play, is adapted for the big screen with an all-star cast led by Yoko Maki, Mao Inoue, Kim Sang-Ho and Yo Oizumi.
