The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone

MA15+ Crime

Sorry, there are no upcoming session times for The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone at Dendy Canberra

Michael Corleone (Al Pacino), now in his 60s, seeks to free his family from crime and find a suitable successor to his empire. That successor could be fiery Vincent (Andy Garcia)... but he may also be the spark that turns Michael's hope of business legitimacy into an inferno of mob violence.

THE GODFATHER, CODA: THE DEATH OF MICHAEL CORLEONE is a re-edit of the Final Director’s Cut that added over 9 minutes to the original Theatrical Version for the Home Entertainment release. CODA comes in at 5 minutes shorter than this previous version but does not seek to make major changes to the narrative, instead through tightly focused editing director Francis Ford Coppola has sought to bring about a significant tonal shift, through this he manages to impart purpose and resolution that was missing in the original version.
