Sebaloo is a documentary about Mahmoud Bardaknia who plays percussion instruments and
lives in the south of Iran, Bushehr. His ancestors arrived in Iran as slaves long years ago. The movie
portrays the effect of the African people of color on the music history of Bushehr in the past one hundred

Dendy Newtown is proud to screen Sebaloo as part of the 10th Iranian Film Festival Australia. The documentary presentation will be preceded by three additional short films:
