After a childhood spent rigorously training for table tennis, Tamako is set free to live a normal life. She graduates from school, joins the workforce and finds “marriage-material boyfriend”,  Ejima, the hottest table tennis player in Japan. Ejima doesn’t know her past as a star athlete and only sees her as a dutiful girlfriend. But romance is a game that Tamako hasn’t mastered and Ejima ends up cheating on her.
