Synopsis

In a very special evening of films CSFF will present the best of contemporary Iranian film. These films provide a unique insight into Persian culture and touch on a range of fascinating themes and topics. From a country which has a proud history of poetry and storytelling come the latest from a new generation of Iranian film makers. Films that confront political issues, gender issues, human issues. A must see election of films which reveal a side if Iranian culture not much seen or understood here in Australia. The evening will include a Q and A with a well-known Iranian actress and an Iranian academic after the films.
