Sorry, there are no upcoming session times for Comedie Francais: Cyrano De Bergerac at Dendy Newtown

Synopsis

Cyrano de Bergerac. Cursed with a prominent nose. Gifted with beautiful words.

Hercule Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac, a cadet in the French Army, is a brash, strong-willed man of many talents. In addition to being a remarkable duelist, he is a gifted poet and musician. However, he has an extremely large nose, a physical feature which causes him no end of self-doubt. This doubt prevents him from expressing his love for his distant cousin, the beautiful and intellectual Roxane, and achieving his "dream of being loved by even an ugly woman."

Presented in French with English subtitles.

Captured live from Paris to select cinemas worldwide. Edmond Rostand’s most popular work will be presented with staging by Denis Podalydès, scenography by Éric Ruf and costumes by Christian Lacroix.
