John Wick is on the run for two reasons… he’s being hunted for a global $14 million dollar open contract on his life, and for breaking a central rule: taking a life on Continental Hotel grounds. The victim was a member of the High Table who ordered the open contract. John should have already been executed, except the Continental’s manager, Winston, has given him a one-hour grace period before he’s “Excommunicado” – membership revoked, banned from all services and cut off from other members. John uses the service industry to stay alive as he fights and kills his way out of New York City.

“A real crowd pleaser… funny, moving and uplifting,” Sunday Times
A kaleidoscope of colour and culture clash humourously as an Indian family in London tries to raise their soccer-playing daughter in a traditional way. Unlike her tarty older sister, who is preparing for a lavish Indian wedding and a lifetime of cooking delicious dishes, Jess dreams of playing soccer professionally, like her hero, British soccer superstar, David Beckham. Wholeheartedly against Jess’ unorthodox ambition, her parents eventually reveal that their reservations have more to do with protecting her, than with holding her back.
When Jess is forced to make a choice between tradition and her beloved sport, her family must decide whether to let her chase her dream... and a soccer ball... Bend It Like Beckham is a comedy about bending the rules to be yourself.
