REEL MUMS Q&A:

Q: How often do REEL MUMS sessions occur?

Q: Do I need to buy my tickets in advance?
A: No, you do not have to purchase advance tickets to the REEL MUMS screenings. However, you can purchase advance tickets by calling Dendy Newtown on 02 9550 5699, Dendy Canberra Centre on 02 6221 8900, Dendy Portside on 07 3137 6000 or Dendy Byron Bay 02 6680 8555 if you desire.

Q: How much are the tickets?
A: Tickets vary for each cinema. Dendy Newtown $10.00, which includes a free babycino from Cinque at Dendy Newtown, Dendy Portside is $9.50 which includes complimentary morning tea, Dendy Byron Bay is $8.50 and Dendy Canberra Centre is $12. Children under 5 are free.

Q: How do I find out about upcoming REEL MUMS events (movie listings and schedules, special events and giveaways)?
A: The Dendy website will have up to date movie listings. You can also sign up to the e-newsletter to receive weekly REEL MUMS information.

Q: How is the REEL MUMS event baby-friendly?
A: The lights are dimmed (never completely dark) and the sound is monitored so that it is not too loud to startle the babies. It is loud enough that you are able to hear the film over the baby sounds. Other patrons do not mind if your baby cries because at any given time there could be several crying babies. Everyone is in the same situation so they are not bothered by it. Parents are free to get up and walk in the aisles or foyer area with baby.

Q: What kinds of films are shown?
A: The films screened for REEL MUMS sessions are new release films of all varieties to suit all tastes.

Q: Is there someplace to put my stroller?
A: Strollers will be placed in the foyer, as current cinema fire restrictions do not allow the exit doors to be covered.

Q: What is the age range of the babies?
A: Dendy Cinemas does not have an age range for REEL MUMS, however only children under 5 receive free admission.
