Synopsis

This stylish cop thriller is set in 1980s Hiroshima at the brink of a bloody turf war between three yakuza families. Starring a powerhouse cast led by Koji Yakusho and Tori Matsuzaka.

Detective Ogami (Koji Yakusho) is an old school cop notorious for cutting deals with yakuza to solve cases. His partner, rookie cop Hioka, has his reservations—an elite grad from the Police Academy, he’s a straight arrow who would rather arrest gangsters than befriend them. As Hioka gets dragged from one yakuza lair to another, he realises that Ogami is deftly navigating a complex ecosystem that could explode into a full-blown turf war at any time.
