Sea Of Shadows

MA15+ Documentary

Sorry, there are no upcoming session times for Sea Of Shadows at Dendy Canberra

Synopsis

Saturday, August 3 at 8:30PM

The swim bladder of the totoaba fish is known as the “cocaine of the sea.” On the black market, controlled by Mexican cartels, it sells for more than gold. So intense is the plundering of the sea that it is endangering the existence of other species.

This fast-paced eco-thriller takes us aboard the Sea Shepherd in a desperate battle to protect the beautiful and biodiverse Sea of Cortez. Scientists, conservationists and the Mexican government race to end illegal fishing and prevent the extinction of the vaquita, the world’s smallest porpoise.

Using captivating imagery, fast-paced intrigue and authentic ticking clocks, Sea of Shadows captivates the viewer from scene one. QBP Reviews
