Located at the southern end of the Woolworths Plaza in the heart of Byron Bay, Dendy Byron Bay is a modern, three-screen complex boasting state-of-the-art projection facilities, Dolby digital surround sound and luxurious stadium seating.
Screening the best of current mainstream and art-house cinema from around the globe, Dendy Byron Bay also hosts Q&A sessions with filmmakers, film festivals, gala events and fundraisers all year round.
Getting to the cinema is no problem, with three hours of free parking in the Woolworths Carpark, conveniently located behind the cinema. Dendy Byron Bay is open every day of the year, even Christmas!
Since it first opened its front doors in 2002, Dendy Byron Bay has been the only destination for cinema-goers in the Northern Rivers.

Reel Mums
Is a special “baby friendly” session held at Dendy Byron Bay on the first Thursday of each month for Mums, dads and carers of infants and very young children. Regular ticket prices apply with children under 5 free, and over 5 is $9.

Special Events
Dendy Byron Bay plays host to the Sydney Travelling Film Festival once a year as well as the Mardi Gras Film Festival. Premieres, Directors screenings and Q & A events all appear regularly at Dendy Byron Bay.
