GROUP & HIRE OPTIONS
Dendy Cinemas offer venues with a difference, available to hire for your next movie function. Our stylish, spacious locations and state of the art auditoriums are versatile spaces ideal for film festivals, corporate functions, fundraising events, private screenings and product launches.
We have a variety of packages available, and if your event concept does not fit into those outlined below, please let us know and we will endeavor to accommodate your vision.
PRIVATE CINEMA HIRE
Dendy Cinemas auditoriums can be hired outright for groups wanting to run presentations, product launches or simply provide their guests the luxury of a private screening. Exclusive cinema hire allows groups to conduct speeches and audio/visual presentations within the cinema, prior to their screening. All hires are quoted for an approximate 2.5-hr period and fees vary greatly depending on the time/date of your booking, cinema location and size and the nature of your screening. Please note, private cinema hires are subject to availability.

GROUP BOOKINGS (20+ GUESTS)
At Dendy Cinemas groups of 20 or more receive admission discounts, which vary based on total number of tickets purchased. Please note, this form of booking does not give you private cinema use, or the option of in-cinema presentations, however catering and candy bar deals can be negotiated.

GROUP BOOKINGS (FEWER THAN 20 GUESTS)
For smaller groups we suggest purchasing a booklet of ten Dendy Cinema Tickets from the box office. Buying books of ten allows you to access a discounted ticket price, though it does not allow for private cinema use or in-cinema presentations. Catering and candy bar deals can be negotiated.
FUNDRAISING
Movie nights at Dendy Cinemas have become an increasingly popular way for Non Profit Organisations or individual campaigners to raise funds, whilst providing their guests with a sophisticated event to remember. Depending on the size of the group, either private bookings or large group bookings can be arranged. Fundraising movie screenings involving a catered function are limited to certain days.
SCREENING TIMES
Exact screening times depend on the length of the feature film. However, approximate start times are: morning 10:00-11:00am, early evening 6.30-7.00pm or late evening 9.00-9.30pm. Daytime and afternoon bookings can also be arranged. Screening times can generally be confirmed a few weeks prior to your event.
FUNCTIONS & CATERING
Pre-screening functions are a great way to entertain your invited guests and Dendy Cinemas offer a range of candy-bar, catering and drinks packages which can be individually tailored to suit your needs and budget. Most Dendy Cinemas venues are licensed, including foyer areas and the auditoriums. The bar stocks a wide selection of Australian and International beers, champagne, red, white & sparkling wines.
