The session is supported by Metro Screen, The University of Sydney Faculty of Art and NIDA, the National Institute of Dramatic Art.

Cutting edgy and creative, the shorts will be entertaining and unique, as they screen for the 1st time. A special screening of Hong Sang-soo’s 30 minute short Lost in the Mountains will also take place in this session, as a piece of inspiration for the vibrant and developing filmmakers in attendance.

The jury consisting of Dr. Bruce Isaacs (University of Sydney), Richard Gray (The Reel Bits), Dr. Karen Pearlman (Australian Film Television and Radio School), Robbie Gadsbey (Metro Screen) and Kang Hyeong-cheol (Director of Sunny, Speedy Scandal) will present the awards at the end of the session.
